Poha/ Flaked rice is a very light & delicious breakfast. It is enjoyed by elders as well as kids. My recipe today is especially dedicated to all kids who love to have Poha for their breakfast. My daughter & myself both enjoy this breakfast , we can relish poha daily for breakfast as it is very light – easy to digest.
- 2 cup poha / flaked rice
- 2 chopped onions
- 1chopped green chilli
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- 4-5 coriander leaves
- 1/4 TSP turmeric powder
- 1/ 4 tsp mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
- Soak poha in water. Drain out the whole water. Keep aside.
- Now take oil in pan , add mustard seeds ,when they splutter add chopped onions & green chilli.
- Saute well , now add turmeric powder, salt and soaked poha, mix well.add lemon juice & serve hot with bhujia / moth flour sev, or namkeen as it is called.
- Garnish with green coriander leaves & serve
Now poha is ready , enjoy with kids & of course with your whole family
