This is a very different form of samosas, normally we have the filling of potatoes in samosas, but I gave a twist to this by filling matar & paneer in the filling.
This dish was my very first recipe that gave me recognition as Poonam Puri in all my food groups. As I owe this to my husband who shared this recipe to me . Preparation time – 30 minutes
Makes – around 20 samosas
250 gms Paneer /Cottage cheese cut in small cubes
1cup green peas boiled
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp amchoor powder
Salt to taste
Mix all ingredients. The filling should look like the above mentioned picture
Now for the dough
2cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp ajwain seeds
2tbsp oil for moin
1/4 tsp salt
Now knead these into a soft dough.
* Make small balls out of the dough. Roll them out. Full the filling of matar paneer , shape them like samosas & deep fry them in low
Fry them till golden brown & serve hot with green chutney.Have fun & enjoy.
