Dal chilla are pancakes made from lentils.As in southern India we have Dosas similarly in the North India we have chillas. I have used 3 types of lentils to prepare chilli or lentil pancake.So here goes the recipe
Preparation time – 40 minutes
Serves – 4
Ingredients
1cup tuar dal
1cup Chana dal
1 cup yellow moong dal
Mix these 3 dals & soak them for overnight.
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2chopped onions
3 chopped green chillies
4tbsp oil
Method
* Grind all the soaked dals in to paste.
* Add all mentioned spices, chopped onions, chopped green chillies & ginger garlic paste.
* Put griddle on the gas & prepare the pancakes or chilli on it, by cooking crisp on both the likes.
You can enjoy these chilli with green chutney.
