Masala Karela

Karela or Bitter Gourd are mostly liked by all. Previously I had shared my recipe of bharwa karela, but today I am sharing the recipe of masala karela, Bitter Gourd made in simple spices alongwith tomatoes. Preparation
It is a lovely blend of spices , I am sure all will relish my recipe. So here we go
Preparation time ,- 30 minutes
Serves – 2
Ingredients
250 gms medium karela
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp amchoor powder
2tomatoes fresh puree
Method
* Scrape the karelas, put 1,tsp salt in scraped karela & skin . Keep aside for 10 minutes
* Wash the karela well & squeeze it well.
* Now take 2tbsp oil & fry the karelas & skin till golden brown.
* Take out karelas put 1tsp oil ,add tomatoes puree & put the spices, fry them well & add the fried karelas & skin.
Enjoy with plain paratha
