Egg Au Gratin


Today the recipe I am sharing is my Mom’s recipe. She learnt it 38 years ago. It is a legacy she has passed on to me. It is an awesome recipe & I am sure you all will relish it, as my family does. So first see the pics then the recipe. So here we go




Preparation time – 30 minutes
Serves – 4
6 hardboiled eggs, cut in half

For white sauce
2tbsp whole wheat flour for white sauce
3tbsp milk
4cubes cheese grated
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Take 1/2 tsp oil & 1/2 tsp butter , add whole wheat flour add fry a little. Now add salt, pepper & milk, keep on stirring well till it forms smoothly into sauce. Add 1/4 cup bread crumbs to it.
Now take a shallow plate ,place the eggs first, then spread the whole wheat flour white sauce, & spread rest of the bread crumbs, now put it in preheated oven 150 degrees, bake for 15 minutes serve hot with butter toast
