Mango Raita


Raita is a dish made from curd or yogurt . There are different types of raita, today I am sharing a recipe dedicated to my father in law. Mango Raita. It is a combination of salt & sweet, with a tempering of jira & asafoetida, that adds a lovely aroma to the curd. So here we go
Preparation time- 10 minutes
Serves – 4
3 ripe kesar mangoes
1/2 kg curd
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
For tempering
1/2 tsp jira
1/4 tsp butter
A pinch of asafoetida
Whisk curd well, & cut mango in small cubes.
Now mix curd & mangoes & add the tempering.
Serve the raita chilled
