Dhansak is a parsi dish with a blend of lentils & chicken. The lovely aroma of this dish is loved by everyone.It is my mom’s signature dish which I like to share with all.
This dish goes well with steamed rice, or veg pulao.


As you can see in the picture the ingredients are also very simple & are easily available in every house hold.,so here  are the ingredients & method
Preparation time – 45 minutes
Serves – 4
750 gms chicken broiler
3onions chopped
3 tomatoes chopped
,1cup tuar dal
3tsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
3whole red chilli
1cinnamon stick
3bay leaves
3,tbsp oil
* Boil tuar dal with little salt separately.
* Take oil in pan add chopped onions & all whole spices.Fry them till brown
* Add chopped tomatoes ,saute well & add the chicken alongwith spices.
* Cook till chicken is tender. Add the dal & boil well.
Add 3 tbsp tamarind juice , boil well & serve hot.
