Whole-wheat flour mathris are my favourite. These mathris are usually prepared from all purpose flour., but to give a twist I prepared them from whole wheat flour or ATTA as normally it is called. These mathris go very well with pickle – a cup of tea or coffee. Just have a look at the process

Here goes the recipe
Preparation time- 30 minutes
Makes – 40 pieces
Ingredients
3cups whole wheat flour or ATTA
2tbsp oil for moin
Salt go taste
2tsp ajwain seeds
Oil for deep frying
Method
* First Knead the atta with ajwain seeds, salt& moin
Now make small balls out of the dough & roll out small puris.
Take fork& pierce it on the both sides of the puris.
In medium flame fry these mathris to golden brown.
Your Atta mathris are ready.
Enjoy them with pickle
