Bhuna jira achaar is a form of mango pickle. Very easy to make & I am sure you all will love it.
The recipe is from my maternal aunt ( Mami ) .We use to relish this achaar whenever we went to our nani’s house. This achaar is one of my fondest memories.
So i thought of sharing with you all.Here goes rhe recipe
Preparation time – 20 minutes
Ready in 4 days
800 green mangows peeled & cut in cubes
Salt to taste
2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp asafoetida
4 tsp bhuna jira powder.
Clean the mangoes & wipe them with the cloth. Rub salt in the mangoes.Keep it aside for an hour. Take out all the water make it dry Now add all the spices & keep it covered with steel seive for 4 days. Your achaar is ready.
