Sambhar is a south indian dish relished with Idli,Dosa,Wada. But it is enjoyed in the Northern part of India also. Being full of vegetables it is very nutritive.

We relish it with steamed rice

Just have a look at the recipe of Sambhar

Boil 1 cup or arhar / tuar dal alongwith 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,salt to taste&vegetables of your choice. I add 1 chopped bottle gourd,2 potatoes, half cup frozen peas.

Now take 2 tsp oil in pan add 1tsp mustard seeds,apinch of hing ,3- 4: curry leaves &chopped onions. Saute them well . Now put 3 tsp of Everest Sambhar masala. &add the dal with veggies. Bring it to good boil & serve hot with steamed rice.
