Spicy chicken curry today is made by my husband Lalit Puri. There are some new additions in his recipe. This whole dish is prepared in mustard oil with lots of chillies & tomatoes. These all have given a lovely aroma of spices along with a beautiful color to the dish.
Here goes the recipe.Take 3 tbsp mustard oil in handi. Add the whole spices (2cloves,6 black pepper corns,2 bay leaves,2tsp sahi jira,) with 4 julien cut onions with 4 green chillies slited. Fry them golden brown. Add 4tsp red chilli powder,1 tsp turmeric powder,salt to taste,1kg Chicken with good pieces.
Fry them well in the spices &add 4chopped tomatoes. Fry well add 2cups of water & cook till the Chicken is tender. Serve hot with Chapatis.
