Noodles,Rice,&Soya Chilli

Veg Fried Rice & Veg Chowmein 

A complete meal
Veg Fried Rice 

Preparation time – 30 minutes

Serves – 3

Ingredients

2 cups boiled rice

1chopped carrots

2 chopped onions

1big green chopped capsicum

4 spring onions chopped

2green chillies chopped

1tsp red chilli sauce

1tsp green chilli sauce

1/4tsp soya sauce

1/4 tsp white vinegar

Salt to taste

4 buds of garlic crushed

2 tbsp oil

Method

* Take oil in a deep pan , add crushed garlic fry a little then add chopped onions, saute little.

* Now add the chopped vegetables alongwith all sauces ,salt & chopped spring onions. Toss well and your Veg fried rice is ready to serve.

Veg Chowmein
Preparation time – 30 minutes

Serves – 3

Ingredients

2 cups boiled noodles

1 julien cut carrots

2 chopped onions

1big green juliencut capsicum

4 spring onions chopped

2green chillies chopped

1tsp red chilli sauce

1tsp green chilli sauce

1/4tsp soya sauce

1/4 tsp white vinegar

Salt to taste

4 buds of garlic crushed

2 tbsp oil

Method

* Take oil in a deep pan , add crushed garlic fry a little then add chopped onions, saute little.

* Now add the chopped vegetables alongwith all sauces ,salt & chopped spring onions. Toss well and your Veg Chowmein is ready to serve.

1pkt soya chunks ,boiled& squeezed 

1 tsp cornflour

1 tsp red & green chilli sauce  each

1 tsp soya sauce

2 onions & 1capsicum diced

2 tsp garlic crushed

Frying for oil

Salt to taste

4 green chillies chopped

1 tsp vinegar

Method

Marinate  soya chunks with cornflour,salt1/4 tsp all sauces each.

Deep fry them golden brown & keep aside.

Take 2 tsp oil in pan add chopped onions.green chillies.capsicum & saute for a while

Mix the fried soya Chunks with all sauces .Toss well & serve hot.

Macaroni with soya chunks 

Today I have tried making spiral Macaroni with soya chunks.It is a very healthy combo loved by all. So just have a look at the recipe .

These are what we need 

250 gms pkt of spiral macaroni 

1 cup soya chunks boiled & squeezed 

3onions chopped 

2tomatoes pureed

Salt to taste

1 tsp red chilli powder 

1/4 tsp turmeric powder 

1 tsp each red & green chilli sauce 

2tsp oil

Boil the macaroni & keep aside. Now take oil in pan add chopped onions ,saute well, now add chopped tomatoes,fry well,add the spices, sauces ,& the boiled macaroni with the chunks also .Toss well & serve hot with toast

Cheesy Open Sandwich 

I am sharing a very & easy recipe with toasted bread slice.Even your kids can make it is very easy.Just look at the recipe 

2 slices ( big one ) brown bread

2 chopped onions 

2 chopped tomatoes 

1 chopped green capsicum 

Salt to taste 

1 tsp each Red chilli sauce,green Chilli sauce.

3 cubes cheese 

Now take 2 tsp butte in a pan. Put chopped onions,saute them & add chopped tomatoes & capsicum. Saute  them well . Add salt & both the sauces. Toss well. Keep aside.

Now take the bread slices spread this mixture,&, sprinkle grated cheese. Put it in pre heated oven ,bake at 120 degrees ,remove as the bread gets toasted. Serve hot with tomato sauce.

Macaroni on Toast 

This is just a simple recipe that is loved by all from kids to elders. As we all enjoy having toast for breakfast, but a small twist gives a tangy taste. 

So here goes my recipe.

250 gms pkt of spiral macaroni boiled 

2onions chopped 

1green capsicum diced

2tomatoes chopped 

1tsp each chilli flakes & oregano

Salt to taste 

2 tsp oil

2tsp each red & green chilli sauce 

2slices of bread

Take oil in pan. Add chopped onions,saute them well . Now add chopped tomatoes cooker then add the rest ingredients alongwith the macaroni. Mix well & keep aside.

Now spread this on bread slice & toast it in the oven @120 degrees for 3 minutes. Your macaroni on toast is ready 

Enjoy with hot coffee

Mooli ka saag

Mooli ka saag as by its name, is made from mooli / radish cooked alongwith its leaves with lots of green chillies. It is very popular in a Punjabi kitchen. It can also be enjoyed with Dal Chawal combo also.

Have a look at the recipe 

3 mooli/ radish ,cut in small pieces with the leaves also chopped 

1 tsp ajwain seeds 

Salt to taste 

6 green chillies chopped 

2 tsp oil

Add 1cup water ,salt to taste & boil the mooli with the leaves, when done strain the water & squeeze out the water from the mooli and the leaves . 

Now take oil in pan ,add ajwain seeds,chopped green chillies & squeezed mooli with leaves.Fry well a little. Then serve hot with Dal Chawal & enjoy

Besan stuffed mirchi 

Today my recipe includes Mirchi stuffed with Besan / gramflour.These chillies are not that hot & are a bit big in size, you can either stuff roasted gramflour or you can stuff boiled potatoes with all the spices.I have stuffed these chillies with roasted Besan.Just have a look at the recipe 

Ingredients & Method 

5-6 big sized green chillies 

1cup besan / gramflour 

1tsp each Red chilli powder, amchur powder 

Salt to taste 

2tsp oil

First toast the besan with the spices. Roast till golden brown . Slit the green chillies lengthwise. Now sprinkle some water in the roasted besan & fill in the filling in the chillies. Now take 2 tsp oil & place the stuffed chillies in the pan. Cook in low flame till chillies get tender.

You can enjoy these chillies with the paratha.
