Chana Dal ki subzi is a legacy I inherited from my mother , my mom used to call it ढो के की सब्जी….I used to relish it in my childhood. As I prepared my family also enjoyed it. Hope you all will also enjoy it.
Ingredients & method
2cups chana Dal soaked for 3-4 hours, grinded coarsely
1tsp each red chilli powder, turmeric powder,salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
2tsp ginger Garlic paste
First take 2tsps oil in a pan . Add the grinded Dal , little salt& red chilli powder. Keep stirring it well till it turns to a thick paste.
Now put this in a oil greased Thali & spread it evenly all over the Thali. Allow it to cool. When set then cut in cubes & deep fry them.
Now take 2 tsp oil in pan ,put the tomato puree , ginger Garlic paste,& all the mentioned spices,add 3cups water & boil well . Then add the fried chana Dal pieces. Keep it for at least sometime. Serve with chapati or steamed rice.
