Bafla Bati ,Panch Dal,Lasunia Chutney, Green Chutney

This dish is an awesome whole meal, made in Rajasthan. It is loved by each & everyone , known for its drooling taste.

For Bafla Bati

1 cup atta

3tbsp oil for moin

Salt to taste 

1tsp baking powder 

1 tsp saunf

Method 

Mix all ingredients and knead a soft dough. Make balls out of it & press them in the centre. These are the batis.Take 4 cups water & boil them well. Keep the stock aside . You can mix it when you prepare the Dal. Cut the Bati into two & deep fry them till golden brown. Your batis are ready.

For  Panch Dal

1cup mixture of 5 Dal (tuar dal,masoor Dal,Urad white Dal,Moong split green Dal,chana Dal).

1 tsp turmeric powder

Salt to taste

Method 

Boil all the dals with the spices in a pressure cooker. Cook till done.

Take 1tsp ghee in a pan for tempering,add 1 tsp jira,2 tsp ginger Garlic paste,1tsp red chilli powder. Add it to the Dal. Garnish with green coriander. Your Panch Dal is ready 

For Lasunia Chutney 

125 gms Garlic 

3tbsp red chilli powder 

1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 

Salt to taste

Method 

Grind the garlic well into a paste. Take 3 tsp  oil in a pan,add the garlic paste & spices ,fry it well till it changes the colour.Your Lasunia Chutney is ready 

For Green Chutney 

1bundle green coriander 

4-5 green chillies 

1tsp rock salt 

Salt to taste 

2lemon juice 

Method 

Mix all ingredients except lemon juice in a grinder.Make a good paste. Now you add the lemon juice. Your Green Chutney is ready.
