Masur Sabut Dal

Today I prepared a Dal which is very nutritious for all of us ,it is Sabut Masur Dal. Do give a try to my recipe you will definitely enjoy this.Here is the recipe.

1cup sabut Masur Dal soaked for 2-3 hours

2 onions chopped

2tomatoes pureed

Salt to taste

1tsp each turmeric powder, red chilli powder


Boil the Dal with salt & turmeric powder. When done mash a little & keep aside.

Now for tempering

Take 2tsp oil in pan add 1tsp jira, Heeng,put the chopped onions,saute a little add the tomato puree,& spices. Add the boiled Dal & cook well. Serve hot with steamed rice.
