I prepared a lovely delicacy today, Basket chaat.It was lovely and enjoyed by everyone.
You will need
2pkts of ready-made atta basket from the market.
10-12 besan pakodi dipped in imli chutney
Aloo Raita of 3-4 boiled potatoes mixed curd with red chilli powder & salt to taste.
1pkt Masala boondi
1pkt nylon sev
You have to arrange all the ingredients.
First place the basket in a plate. Put some imli pakodi, then Aloo Raita,then Masala boondi & nylon sev Have them immediately orelse they will turn soggy. You will just love it.

For kuttu ki pakodi
Cut 3-4 potatoes in thin round slices
Take 1cup kuttu ka atta add sendha Salt& red chilli powder to taste. Make a thick batter & dip potato slices& fry till golden brown.
For Aloo Rassa
Take 2tsp oil in a pan. Put 1 tsp jira 1tsp red chilli powder, sendha Salt to taste & put 3-4 mashed boiled potatoes. Mix well &add 2cups of water. Bring to good boil.
For Curd Masala
Take 1cup curd,whisk it well ,add salt bhuna jira & enjoy with kuttu pakodi.
For green chutney
Take 1bundle green Coriander leaves,4-5 green chillies,salt to taste , juice of 1 lemon ,grind into a smooth paste & enjoy the chutney.
Buck wheat or kuttu ke chawal are also eaten during fast.You can just see the recipe
1/2 inch ginger grated
Sendha salt to taste
1tsp red chilli powder
2-3 green chillies chopped
Take 1tsp ghee in cooker. Add all the ingredients & take 1whistle. Put off the flame & serve hot.
Take 1 cup soaked sabudana,cook with 2cups of milk. Boil well add 2 tbsps sugar. Mix well then add 1/2 tsp rose syrup& 1tsp elaichi powder.Decorate with nuts .
This is a lovely & fantastic dish made from brinjal,paneer & white sauce.This dish has awesome taste of white sauce too.
Just havea look
1 medium sized brinjal cut in halves & deep fried till golden brown.
200 gms paneer
Salt & red chilli powder to taste
Prepare white sauce with 3 tbsp milk, 1cheese cube grated,& salt , black pepper to taste.
First put 2tsp oil in a pan,add the onions,saute a bit,now add the tomatoes puree,paneer,salt,red chilli powder & cook well.
Now take a baking dish.First place the first brinjal,then the tomato puree with paneer, again brinjal & then pour the white sauce on top of it. Bake it in preheated oven @150 degree for 10 minutes.
Serve hot & enjoy.
Plaits are similarly made as we prepare our own Plaits,just cook them accordingly and enjoy
For mix vegetables filling.
Dice 2 potatoes,3florets of cauliflower,1cup boiled green peas, Now take 2 tsp oil in a pan put 1tsp jira,add all the vegetables,put 1 tsp red chilli powder, turmeric powder & amchoor powder,salt to taste.mix well & put off the gas when vegetables are done. Your filling is ready.
Preparation time – 35 minutes
Serves – 4
3 cups maida
3 tbsp oil for moin
Salt to taste
* First knead the flour with moin, salt. Keep it aside for overnight.
* Now take oil in pan & prepare the filling.Prepare as directed in pictures.
* Roll the kneaded dough, fill in the filling in between,make cuts on both the sides of the rolled chapati & criss cross join the strips like a braid.Fill both the fillings alternatively, then bake it in preheated oven at 150 degrees. Then bake them at 180 degrees for half an hour.
Your Plaits are ready to be served with Tomato sauce or Green Chutney as preferred.
