Holi thali


Today being Holi , the festival of colours, I prepared a very simple thali of Masala Puris, Aloo Rasaa & Nutty Beans. We love to have simple & light food on this festival. 

We enjoy having this delicacy

Masala Puris

Take 2cups attached,put salt & red chilli powder to taste. Knead a dough & prepare Puris.

Àloo Rassa

Boil 3-4 potatoes,peel & cut them in diced. Now take 2tsp oil in a pan put jira & 2tomatoes pureed cubes,add 1tsp each turmeric powder red chilli powder salt to taste, dhania powder amchur powder & mix well  ,add 2cups of water & boil them well as. Add a pinch of garam masala, serve hot with Puris.

Nutty Beans

Take 250 gms, cut them slantwise. Take 2 tsp oil in a pan put jira,beans& all spices 1tsp each turmeric powder red chilli powder salt to taste, dhania powder amchur powder, allow it to be tender, when done Sprinkle 2tsps crushed Peanuts. Your Nutty Beans are ready. Enjoy.
