Ravioli in Red Sauce

Ravioli is an Italian dish, normally it is cooked in white sauce,but to give a twist l prepared in red tomato gravy. It came out very well & was relished by all in my family.You too have a look at the method & ingredients.

You will need

For the Ravioli filling

Ingredients for Spinach Paneer Spinach blanched and chopped 2 medium bunches. 

Paneer grated 1/2 cup.

 Butter 1 tablespoon.

 Onion chopped 1 medium. 

Garlic chopped 2-3 cloves. 

Salt to taste.

For the Ravioli dough

1cup maida

1cup suji

10 ml olive oil

First saute the blanched spinach with onion, garlic ,salt to taste, crushed cottage cheese or Paneer. Mix well & allow it to cool. Prepare a soft dough of suji& maida. Roll out small Chapati fill the filling.,roll into half press sides with a fork & boil them in boiling water for 5 minutes.

For red sauce

First take 2tsp oil in a pan,put the 3fresh tomatoes & 4-5 basil leaves pureed, cook well add 1 tsp red chilli powder,salt to taste. Now put the boiled ravioli in it . Toss a bit & serve hot.
