Sweet & Sour Karela

A fantastic side dish with awesome delicacy of Karela. I just love this dish.

Have a look

250 gms Karela cut in rounds & deep fried till golden brown

2onions cut in jullien

2-3green chillies slited

1tsp tamarind paste

2tsp gurd or jaggery dissolved with imli

Salt to taste

1 tsp red chilli powder

Few curry leaves

1tsp Chana Dal & urad dal

1tsp jira

1tsp dry coconut powder

2tsp oil


First take oil in pan,put jira ,saute the onions ,add curry leaves,Chana Dal, urad Dal ,spices & fried Karela. Mix well then add the imli pulp & gurd,saute for a while serve with Dal Chawal & love it.
